Mr. Alberto Toni – Chief Financial Officer Bata Group
Alberto Toni is Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee of Bata Group, the international footwear company. Born in 1967, he graduated in Economics at the Università Cattolica of Milan.
After graduating he became chartered accountant and certified tax advisor. After a few years he left consultancy to start a managerial career first in Heineken Italy and then abroad, finally in the role of Senior Finance Director Western Europe in the headquarter in Amsterdam.
Before joining Bata he also held the position as CFO of Deoleo SA, a company listed at the Madrid Stock Exchange and world leader in the production and commercialization of the oil of olive.
Recently appointed as CFO of the Bata Group, he is based in Lausanne.
Founded in 1894, Bata is a family-owned global footwear producer and retailer, and No.1 shoemaker in volume in the world.
