The Impact of COVID-19 on the Global Art Market
COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on the world. Art Fairs were postponed and online offers mushroomed worldwide. In most countries, online sales and galleries with existing electronic databases, like auction houses thrived. This webinar will explore the significance of the pandemic for the global art sector and its emergence post-Covid. The creativity and new technologies which existed but only interested a slim percentage of the global art world emerged and bloomed.
Hosted by Geneva Business School, who this September will be launching a first of its kind MBA focusing specifically on the fine art sector, our panel of experts will address topics ranging from new technologies, changing audience habits, and whether the industry will ever be the same after the pandemic is over. Join us for a lively and stimulating discussion on lessons learned from COVID-19.
