Expert visits at Geneva Campus Classes

 

GBS aims to provide several channels to help the students get as much knowledge and experiences from their industries. Therefore, industry experts are regularly invited to our classes to share their insights and perspectives of their experiences. These expert visits allow the students to have a better understanding of different professions, markets and gives them the space to ask, debate and interact with them.

Here are some of the class visits that took place in the month of May: .

Suman Sasmal, Ambassador from OpenExO, shared his journey on disruptive innovation and exponential value creation, discussing the topic if Journey to Exponential – Role of Talent. 

Valentina Rosa, Director of Fundraising from MSF Switzerland, was a guest speaker in Professors Keltoum Irbah’s Class of sociology, lecturing about the issue of communication and the approach of Fundraising.

Andrés Franco, Associate Director of Communications & Sustainability – Global Hair Care from The Procter & Gamble Company visited Professor Laura Turley’s class of Environmental & Sustainability Management and shared his experience on standards and certifications.

Mgr. Massimo de Gregori, Secretary of Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations Office, and other international organizations in Geneva was invited by Professor Keltoum Irbah’s Sociology Class, discussing The issue of Labor in the contemporary society.

Alice Valenti, Regional Marketing Manager for France, Switzerland & Austria at Uber visited professor Francesco Derchi’s Digital Marketing Class, speaking about Uber’s digital marketing strategy.

Dario Rigert, Global Relationship Manager, Global Sales & Relationship Management at BNP Paribas was another guest in Professor Cassandre Burgess’ Organization & Administration management of Banking discussing Managing client relationships within a banking organization structure.

Elena Giotti, Associate, – Circular Economy from WBCSD, visited Professor LauraTurley’s Environmental & Sustainability Management Class to share about Circular Economy.
