IACBE grants GBS the reaccreditation of its programs until 2025

We are proud and glad to announce another great milestone we have achieved during April 2019. After meeting all the required criteria in all of our campuses and programs, and after having a week-long assessment from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) last year, hosted at our Geneva and Barcelona campuses, Geneva Business School has been granted a reaffirmation of all programs for Bachelor, Master and Doctorate at all current GBS locations until 2025.

Our reaffirmation was officially announced during the 2019 IACBE Annual Conference & Assembly Meeting at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. 2019 IACBE Annual Conference & Assembly Meeting, held from April 9-12, 2019 at Caesars Palace  in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA gathered IACBE’s Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, and staff with all members of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) to share sessions, activities, and events to discuss the main trends and hot topics in Business Education, besides creating a space for networking. Mark Hatton, Geneva Business School Global Quality Assurance Director / Geneva Campus Co-Director participated in this event representing GBS after leading the creation of all required documentation and ensuring GBS met all criteria to achieve such important reaffirmation.

The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), formerly the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education, was founded in 1997 in response to the expressed needs of higher education administrators, business program leaders faculty who wanted an accreditation process that was mission-driven and outcomes-based. Since that time, the IACBE has grown into the leading outcomes-based professional accreditation agency for business and management education in colleges and universities whose primary purpose is excellence in teaching and learning. The IACBE has hundreds of member institutions with campuses worldwide and has accredited more than 1,800 business and business-related programs worldwide.

IACBE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), whose purpose is to scrutinize and affirm the quality of regional, faith-based, private career, and programmatic accrediting organizations. 

GBS is honored by this achievement and by the recognition of its efforts to consistently raise the quality of its school, its campuses, and its services, and for the next 7 years, this reaffirmation will be the stepping stone towards maintaining and always focusing on reinforcing & improving our Swiss-Quality education worldwide.
