Marine Money Geneva Forum
Geneva Campus students attended the 7th annual global Marine Money forum on Tuesday, 28 May 2019, held at The Hotel President Wilson in Geneva. The conference hosted over 100 delegates including Asian and European shipowners, bankers, analysts, brokers, consultants, ship finance arrangers and investors. Attendees exchanged views on oil prices and the health of the tanker markets, equity investing in shipping and the entry of institutional capital into the marine debt markets, the appetite of Chinese financial leasing, geopolitics and the impact of the US-China “trade war” on commodity trades and global shipping.
The students who attended this international conference were Kira Surkova, MSC major, International Finance, Masoud Masroori, MBA major, Oil & Gas Management, Tabita Loureiro, MBA Major, Oil & Gas Management and James Mero, BBA Major, Oil & Gas Management. The students were lucky to meet and interact with Ms. Mia Jensen, Greek Director & Events and Kevin Aotes, Managing Director Singapore from Marine Money International.
This was a great chance for our students to be part of an international event and connect with shipowners, financiers, investors, ship managers, brokers, lawyers and accountants.
