Help Kloogo on Kickstarter!

Today, startup match-making app Kloogo, a project that started in Geneva Business School, is launching its Kickstarter campaign. The campaign, which goes live at 18:30 CEST today, Tuesday 22 October 2019, shows our students truly putting what they’ve learned into practice.

But they need your help!

To get Kloogo off to the best start possible, there are up to three things you can do today:

1: If you are in Barcelona, attend today’s launch party which starts at 18:00 CEST on our Barcelona campus. Give your emotional support, and enjoy the burgers and beers offered by Kloogo.

2: Back the kickstarter campaign as soon as possible. You’ll get all kinds of rewards for doing your bit.

3: Share the link so that more people can find and back the project. Remember, the link does not become active until 18:30, so make sure you let people know as you share it.

Why is it so important for Kloogo to start strong?

Kickstarter has an algorithm called “magic” that decides which projects get prominent real estate on the website. But it’s not magic. All it really looks at is early engagement. The rule of thumb is that you need 30% of the project backed within first 72 hours for the snowball to start rolling. Otherwise you are buried into oblivion.

About Kloogo

Kloogo is the brainchild of Ainis Visokinskas and Justas Berzinskas, two of our Bachelor of International Finance students from Lithuania.

They have already produced app and seen hundreds of downloads. Many startups are already on the platform currently looking for talent, mainly business students.

Kloogo already has a team of seven people working on the app and they have already found strategic international partners.

At Geneva Business School, we wish Ainis and Justas the best of luck.
