The next research webinar will take place on 6th of November 1.30 pm Geneva time.

Prof. Dag Flachet will talk about how he and the research team worked on developing data collection tool for the research study “The Hard, Soft and Smart Leadership Model”. Dr. Oliver Elliott, who has done a number of studies in history will discuss the power and specific features of interdisciplinary research.  

The seminar is open to faculty members and students interested in research. Discussions and feedback on presentations are most welcomed.

Research Committee is delighted to invite you to the first research webinar that will take place on 24th of September, 10 am Geneva time.

Research webinar series showcases research conducted at GBS and facilitates the professional development of faculty and students in the research area. The first webinar on 24th of September will feature Dr. Jaime de Melo and Dr. Mariana Alba. 

Dr. Jaime de Melo will present about the opportunities in using international databases for research studies. Dr. Mariana Alba will present an upcoming book «Sports and Development» with the focus on covered issues, discussions, and contributors to the book.

The seminar is open to faculty members and students interested in research. Discussions and feedback to presentations are mostly welcomed.

The consultancy teams work under the supervision of Marketing courses lecturers – high profile consultants, who provide continuous support and feedback to course participants throughout the project.

The start of the project is planned for January 2018. The project duration is three months with a final presentation in April 2019. We invite companies to participate in the project on a free basis. The company is required to submit company profile and client brief by November 1st for approval to the Program Director (research@gbsge.com).

Why participate in the consultancy project?

  • Experienced students working on the project under the guidance of faculty members
  • Detailed analysis of the current situation, practical recommendations and action plan developed as a result of the project
  • Optimal cost-benefit approach to gaining value from cooperation with GBS
  • Course participants will produce a written three-parts group report to a professional standard and make an oral presentation to the client organization on completion of the project.
