Synopsis of the topic:
Responsible investment is an approach to investing that aims to incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into investment decisions, to better manage risk and generate sustainable, long-term returns.
This conference will explore the different concepts surrounding ESG and responsible investment, how it differs from socially responsible investment (SRI) or impact investing, how responsible investing works in practice and whether or not the returns are worth the investment.
About the speaker:
Mr. Mardan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Geneva and a master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of St. Gallen. Mr. Mardan speaks seven languages and was a member of the Swiss military Special Forces Command.
