Biliana holds MSc in Sociology from the St. Kliment Ohridski University, Bulgaria; MA in Leadership, Innovation, and Change from York St John University, UK; and Executive and Organisational Coaching Certificate for Coaching Organisations for Breakthrough Performance from Columbia University in the City of New York. She has lived and worked in Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Norway, Nepal, Lao PDR, Thailand, and Switzerland. Biliana teaches on the Geneva Campus in Switzerland.
