A Milestone Year: Geneva Business School Celebrates 30 Years of Excellence at 2025 Graduation Ceremonies

Students across our campuses celebrated their achievements in two fantastic graduation ceremonies

A Day to Remember

This July, Geneva Business School proudly celebrated not just the achievements of its graduating class of 2025 but also a historic milestone: 30 years of academic excellence, innovation, and global impact. Two spectacular ceremonies held in Spain and Switzerland were Impactful reminders of the school’s mission and legacy while celebrating the next generation of responsible leaders stepping into the world.

The Spain Graduation Ceremony kicked off student celebration on Friday, July 4th, at the iconic W Hotel in Barcelona, witnessing the combination of graduates, friends, and families from our Barcelona and Madrid campuses.

The festivities continued with the Swiss graduation on Saturday, July 5th, at the prestigious InterContinental in Geneva.

Nearly 200 graduates crossed both stages, cheered on by their peers, professors, families, and friends, each moment charged with emotion, pride, and hope for the future.

Honoring Three Decades of Growth and Global Vision

Founded in 1995 by Professor Francis Kahn, Geneva Business School has grown from a single-campus institution into a truly global community of aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals, and change-makers. In his address to the graduates, Professor Kahn reflected on this remarkable journey:

This year is very special. Not only is it the celebration of 30 years of educational excellence, but we are also growing in the right direction.

He went on to inspire the Class of 2025 with a call to leadership rooted in shared values:

Congratulations to our students, you are no longer students, but responsible leaders of the future. You have learned not to focus on differences, but to build on what we have in common. The world you step into is complex and changing, it needs a new style of leadership, one built on integrity, respect, and global vision like this graduating class.

Powerful Messages from Visionary Leaders

Each ceremony featured compelling keynote speeches that left a deep impression on students and families alike.

In Geneva, Mr. Raphael Domjan, explorer, lecturer, and founder of the SolarPlanet Foundation, delivered a message grounded in courage and conviction:

Don’t be afraid of failure. Fear doesn’t stop us from dying; it stops us from living. Take risks, and never stop dreaming.

In Barcelona, two trailblazing entrepreneurs took the stage. Mr. Agustín Gómez, Co-founder of Wallapop, encouraged graduates to pursue self-awareness:

By discovering your natural talent, it becomes easier to find the projects, places, and people where you’ll truly shine.

Meanwhile, Mr. Francisco Campo, President of the Planet Future Foundation, offered a moving reflection on fear and growth:

FEAR has two meanings: Forget Everything And Run, or Face Everything And Rise. Your education empowers you to rise. This diploma proves you haven’t failed, it proves you are ready.

A Day of Pride, Emotion, and New Beginnings

As caps flew through the air and final hugs were exchanged, the atmosphere across both cities was electric. Behind every handshake on stage was a story of perseverance. Behind every proud tear in the audience was a journey of sacrifice and triumph.

From Barcelona to Geneva, from the first student who enrolled in 1995 to the 2025 graduates who now carry the torch, Geneva Business School continues to foster leaders who think globally and act ethically.

As we look ahead, this 30th anniversary marks not an endpoint, but a launchpad for our alumni, our faculty, and the future of education. Here’s to the next 30 years.
