Winter Celebrations at Geneva Business School
December is a busy time for Geneva Business School, but we’ve always got time for a winter celebration. Each campus celebrated in style this year, with Geneva going back to its Swiss roots, Barcelona donating clothes, and Madrid putting on an awards ceremony.
There were also two big announcements from our Spanish campuses: both Madrid and Barcelona will be moving into new campus buildings in the new year.
Geneva: A Traditionally Swiss Celebration
Students, faculty, and staff on our Geneva campus got together for a classic Swiss celebration on Tuesday 10 December at the Edelweiss Hotel. The night was a great opportunity for first-year international students to get a taste of traditional Swiss culture (and a lot of fondue, of course).
The hotel itself proved to be an excellent venue, with guests enjoying a great show from a local band who put on a Swiss bell performance.

Barcelona: A Socially Responsible Winter Gala
In Barcelona, as part of the Winter Gala 2019, Geneva Business School partnered with the Alcântara Family Foundation to donate warm clothes to those who need them most.
Our students exceeded expectations, collecting a total of over 400 items of clothing and showing a powerful commitment to being socially responsible leaders of the future.
For every item of clothing, students were awarded a ticket for a stunning raffle, with prizes donated by the Foundation. Students and staff took home signed boots and jerseys from Rafinha and Thiago Alcântara, as well as tickets to see Rafinha play.
Among the other proud sponsors of the Geneva Business School, Winter Gala 2019 were My Premium Concierge, Majestic Hotel, and Curamando.
You can find photos of the night on our Facebook page.
Madrid: A Glamorous Gala Awards Night
On 19 December 2019, our Madrid team celebrated their annual Winter Gala in Madrid’s beautiful historic neighborhood, Salamanca. A fantastic event all round, the Geneva Business School Winter Gala in Madrid also celebrated its own students in a light-hearted student awards ceremony.
The funniest student went to Slahde Seale, while Sofia Diaz won the award for the most creative student. Most likely to be famous went to Nicole Gomez and the party animal award went to Hibatallah Ben Ali. The student with the best school spirit was Rigo Cruz, congratulations to everyone in the class of 2019!
