Exceptional Admissions Conditions after COVID-19 for Fall Semester 2020
Geneva Business School will provide support to prospective students whose results will be affected by the COVID-19 global health situation.
Despite the world health crisis, Geneva Business School will do everything in its power to continue to enable the next generation’s education and future.
We are fully aware that due to the current situation affecting many schools, the end of year examinations could be postponed and results delayed. As such, candidates may be unable to obtain their high school diplomas and TOEFL/IELTS tests in time for their applications for higher education institutions. While our admission requirements remain unchanged, exceptional times call for exceptional measures. Therefore, we will provide support to prospective students whose results will be affected by the current global health situation. If you fall under this criteria, please read the following:
The Geneva Business School Board of Management has decided that it will make an exception and accept students even if they are unable to obtain their high school diplomas due to the pandemic. This applies to International Baccalaureate, Maturité Suisse, etc., but only on the condition that their grade transcripts, English level, and school recommendations are of the high level we expect from applicants worldwide. During the application interviews, we will apply the same level of rigorous assessment as well as thoroughly evaluate the candidate’s level of comprehension in English to ensure that everyone has the capacity to participate in class.
Candidates accepted to Geneva Business School without TOEFL/IELTS or high school examination results will be afforded one additional academic year, from the time they join our school, to provide the missing documents. In exceptional cases, our Academic Dean will assess the situation on an individual basis. With this unique opportunity, we will ensure that the disruption will not prevent talented and highly deserving students from reaching their full potential.
We firmly believe that education must go on.
