The Semester Starts Here

Feeling refreshed from your vacation? Raring to get started at Geneva Business School? Brimming with business ideas you want to put into action?

Good. Because next week is Welcome Leadership Week, where each campus will welcome our new students – supporting you right from the start as you embark on your journey to be future business leaders.

In Geneva and Madrid, the welcome week runs from Monday 11th to Friday 15th September. In Barcelona, the week starts on Tuesday 12th as Monday is a public holiday. There will be a meet and greet for all students at each campus, with professional ID photoshoots, campus tours and academic taster sessions. Plus, there’s the first challenge of preparing and presenting case studies.

Geneva, Barcelona, Madrid

For students in Geneva, there’s a welcome speech from the CEO of our Swiss campus, Dr. Sébastien Troyon. We’ve also got guest speakers from the World Federation of United Nations Associations, with the option of attending an advanced training program in October. And you get the chance to participate in the WTO (World Trade Organization) Forum. For sure, there will also be some fondue to dip into.

In Barcelona, there’s a breakfast mingle and welcome speech from the CEO of our Spanish campuses, Mrs Nicola Jackman. For everything you need to know about student experience, campus life, and academic essentials, Paloma Simonpietri, Gregory Shields & Estel Panella will be there to guide you. And to get you prepared for city life in Barcelona, we’ve got a walking tour and networking drinks on an emblematic rooftop terrace.

And in Madrid, you’ll be welcomed by Héctor Martin (Academic Dean), Jacobo Domínguez (Campus Coordinator) and Laura Antolínez (Student Experience Coordinator). They’ll be giving you all the information you need to be primed for success, as well living in the Spanish capital. And the week is topped off with a day trip to Warner Brothers Amusement Park.

Setting up for Success

Whichever campus you’re studying at, don’t forget to make a great first impression. As responsible business leaders of the future, it’s important to look the part. Check the campus you’re attending for full details of attire and schedule. We can’t wait to get started and support you on your journey!
