Dr. Roy Mouawad to speak at Eduniversal World Convention

Geneva Business School’s Quality Director will speak on a roundtable panel about Programs of the Future.

From 10-13 November 2020 the Eduniversal 3D World Convention will take place, for the first time, within a Virtual World.
This year, over four days the Eduniversal global community will explore the impact of the global pandemic on the Education sector with the theme:

The soft skills of the now, are the hard skills of the future: Key lessons and best practices from the COVID 19 crisis.

The Eduinversal World Convention is the place to be for global education leaders to rethink the traditional models and create new contexts and innovative solutions. The focus will be on how the COVID 19 crisis accelerated change in the education sector.

Geneva Business School Quality Director, Dr. Roy Mouawad, will speak at the Eduniversal World Convention on 13 Nov on a roundtable panel about Programs of the Future.

Dr. Roy Mouawad
Quality Director, Geneva Business School

Roy’s vision of the future of teaching and education delivery methods is a most important one. In the context of 2020, where global mobility has been restricted, the future of education became quite clear: online is here to stay and we must adapt and emerge with new approaches to teaching and learning.

As educational institutions have quickly shifted to hybrid learning in early 2020, many administrators and educators are raising questions related to improving for the long-term sustainability of their institutions and what that evolution looks like.

How do we evolve our teaching and learning standards in a hybrid model? How do we improve the learning environment (content and facilities)? How can we develop new ways of teaching to support 360º learning environments. Roy will share the outcomes of a qualitative survey he conducted based on the data collected during the Spring of 2020. He will present some informal course evaluations and review student’s favorite things about the course and reflect on some things to improve.
