Geneva Business School held graduation ceremonies in Geneva and Barcelona to honor the Class of 2023.
July was a month of celebration as Geneva Business School honored the incredible accomplishments of the Class of 2023. Two graduation ceremonies, held in Geneva and Barcelona, marked the culmination of the graduates’ hard work and achievements. Let’s delve into the highlights of these remarkable events and shine the spotlight on our stars of the day – the graduates.
In Geneva, the prestigious Pavillon Gallatin hosted the graduation ceremony on July 7th. Dr. Sébastien Troyon, Geneva Campus Director, delivered an empowering Commencement Address, inspiring the graduates to make a meaningful impact in their chosen fields. Dr. Amy King Wei Lee, Owner and Director of Acting Management, graced the ceremony as Keynote Speaker, offering valuable insights to empower our graduates on their continued journey.
The presentation of Bachelor Diplomas and Awards recognized the dedication of each graduate. Yu-Hsiang Cheng, the Bachelor Valedictorian, delivered an inspiring speech, reflecting on the collective journey of the Class of 2023 and how they each found their own unique table to thrive in.
The Geneva graduation also celebrated our Master’s students, with the Master’s awards being presented to Jean-Baptiste Vân-Son Daniel Casanova for the Outstanding Thesis Award, Nirja Sharan for the Academic Achievement Award, and Céleste Josephine Marie Leleu for the Contribution to the Community Award. Vishal Gupta, the Master Valedictorian, delivered a powerful speech reminding his fellow graduates that true success lies in the impact they create on others and the world. During the event, we also celebrated our doctoral graduate, Thi Quynh Chi Nguyen, as she walked across the stage to receive her well-earned DBA diploma.
A week later, the celebration continued in Barcelona at the W Hotel on July 14th. Mr. Cornel Amariei, Founder of .lumen, delivered an inspiring keynote address, encouraging the graduates to embrace their extraordinary potential.
The Barcelona ceremony witnessed the enthusiastic participation of our talented graduates from various programs. Each graduate shone brightly as they took a step towards a promising future.
The awards for Community Contribution recognized the exceptional dedication of Bachelors Valmar Alve and Diego Gomez. We also celebrated the Academic Achievement Awards, acknowledging the exceptional academic performance of Bachelor Julia Felicia Medina Bjørling, Master’s Alejandro Gonzalez, MBA Alex Geddes, and DBA Catalina Jimenez. These students’ outstanding academic performance and dedication to their studies also led them to serve as valedictorians for their respective cohorts.
As the evening in Barcelona came to a close, Mrs. Nicola Jackman, Chief Executive Officer of Spanish Campuses, expressed gratitude and optimism in her closing remarks.
Now, as the Geneva Business School Class of 2023 steps into the world, we know they will uphold the core values that define our institution: “Real Business. Responsible Leaders.” These graduates are not only equipped with exceptional academic knowledge but also with a sense of responsibility towards the greater good.
