Brian Haugen is originally from Minnesota. He attended the International School of Geneva in his youth and obtained a BFA in Filmmaking from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2004. He returned to Switzerland in 2005 and held various positions in sport organizations, most notably at UEFA and FIBA before creating his own business in 2012 as a video content producer and editor. In 2016, Brian joined the International Olympic Committee where he produced over 200 short videos for the Olympics’ social media accounts. The content he produced, mostly inspirational athlete stories, generated over 1 billion views online, 35 million reactions (likes and comments), and were shared by more than 5 million people across the globe. He left the IOC in the summer of 2019 and now works as an independent content creator and digital specialist in addition to teaching video production and marketing at Geneva Business School since the Spring of 2020. Brian teaches on the Geneva Campus in Switzerland.
